Beach Amusement Park – Early 1950s

The Beach Amusement Park – where better to take the children on a hot July day?

Even with the traffic on the QEW very heavy during the summer holiday season (before the Skyway Bridge was built), the effort was worth it in the minds of the kids wanting a ride on the carousel, or a cola from the concession stand.

A pony ride, albeit in a very small rotation.

A roller coaster – not overly-death-defying though.

Then a slow traffic crawl away from the lake breezes and a return to the city.
